Economical laser pointers are useful for many optical experiments. Lasers operate on a push-button switch, are housed in a rubberized aluminum pen-style case, and include a pocket clip. The lasers are Class 3R and are each 6” long x 0.5” in diameter.

The red laser pointer has a maximum output of 5mW and a wavelength of 650nm ( /- 10nm). The range of the beam is 100 meters. The expected operating life is 1000 hours. Operates on two "AAA" batteries (not included).

Green laser pointer has a maximum output of 5mW and a wavelength of 532nm ( /- 10nm). The range of the beam is 200 meters. The expected operating life is 1000 hours. Operates on two "AAA" batteries (not included).
